Idols in the Heart: A Tale

"Idols in the Heart: A Tale" is a novel by Charlotte Maria Tucker, a prolific British writer and a missionary who wrote books for children and adults, often using the pseudonym A.L.O.E, meaning literally «a lady of England.» This book presents a story of three children who lost their mother and have to accept the new love of their father, a simple girl that is just five years older than her elder stepdaughter. The family has to come over difficult situations, obstacles, and misunderstandings. Like many other works by Tucker, this novel has a strong spiritual and moral message and can teach us a lot of life lessons.
