"The Puritans" is a Victorian-era novel about the clashes of worldviews between different societal groups. Two men, prepared for the priesthood and raised according to strict moral and behavioral rules, suddenly get sent to live in the entirely liberated Victorian society. How will they handle the challenges to their faith and build relations with people who behave differently, especially women?
