"Lady Hester; Or, Ursula's Narrative" is a romance story about a young woman's desire to know about her estranged father. Faith Le Blanc, a young woman had been married to Captain Trevor, a young English soldier who went off to war and with whom they had a daughter. But a case of mistaken identity sees the Captain marked as dead. Subsequently Faith is remarried, but her second husband also dies in a hunting expedition.
