The Man from Brodney's

"The Man from Brodney's" by George Barr McCutcheon introduces the story of a few English men and women and several Americans who must spend time on the tropical island of Japut. The natives who call the island home are a constant threat. Though in part due to culture differences, they are also entitled to a great inheritance provided that two of the foreign visitors don't marry within six months.
