Sonnie-Boy's People

'Sonnie-Boy's People' is an adventure novel written by James B. Connolly. The story begins by introducing us to a man named Mr. Necker, who just arrived at a cottage and meets a woman named Miss Welkie. He tells her that he is looking for her brother and that he has just arrived from Key West. He also mentions that he was the only passenger on the boat, except for another man who got off at the new fortification landing and was greeted by a tall man running down to meet him. Miss Welkie tells Mr. Necker that the other man must have been her brother.
