The Romance of Zion Chapel

"The Romance of Zion Chapel" is a romance novel by English author and poet Richard Le Gallienne. An unlikely romance develops along the street named New Zion. The son of a church minister, Theophilus Londonderry has grown into a learned theologian with great oratorical acumen to deliver excellent sermons. His skills has not gone unnoticed, and he is soon invited to become the lay preacher at New Zion Chapel. And when he seeks lodging at the Talbots, he falls in love with Jenny Talbot, the family's daughter.
