Young Lord Stranleigh

'Young Lord Stranleigh' is a novel written by Robert Barr. The story begins with two young men, Lord Stranleigh of Wychwood and Peter Mackeller, meeting on the steps of Lord Strangleigh's townhouse. Peter Mackeller has a letter of introduction from the Honorable John Hazel, but he resents Lord Stranleigh's lack of energy and his indifference to his fellows. Lord Stranleigh offers to walk with Peter to his club, but Peter declines and demands that Lord Stranleigh invite him inside for ten minutes. Lord Stranleigh raises an eyebrow at his request, as people do not usually say «No» to him.
