The Unspeakable Perk

"The Unspeakable Perk" by Samuel Hopkins Adams follows a bored socialite who rents a villa in Central America to get away from the three men who are courting her in the hopes of making her a wife. Little did she know that, while in this exotic place, she'd meet someone, an American naturalist who is so different from the men she usually interacts with that she can't help but be fascinated and drawn to him.
