It’s nice to sit in a warm house on a frosty winter day and sip hot tea with cookies and candy and listen to a sweet fairy tale. This story happened in a far, far away town. It happened in winter.
It is winter. Soft, fluffy snow is falling from the sky. It looks like delicate pieces of cotton candy. Trees and houses look as if sprinkled with powdered sugar. The light vagabond breeze brings this powdered sugar along the streets…
And the snowdrifts! They glisten and sparkle in the sun, as if someone generously poured sugar for everyone to enjoy! And icicles, like crunchy lollipops, hang from the roofs and shimmer in the sun in all the colors of the rainbow…
Christmas is coming. In one little house like in many other houses, there was a lush, pretty Christmas tree.
It was waiting for it to be decorated with colorful bright balls and it would shine with lights! It
will sparkle with sparkles and stars, it thought.
